The Nerd

There was a young hacker named Jed
The internet went to his head
He left his computer
To find a new suitor
And texting took over instead.

Some say he didn’t write that stuff –
The merry Bard of Avon,
But, if he didn’t, then, who did?
And who thought it worth savin’?

Some say that secret codes abound
Concealed within Will’s phrases
‘Bout Protestants and Catholics
And people in high places.

To others he’s beyond compare,
Will Shakespeare is the greatest,
His plays perfection, sonnets pure,
But have you heard the latest –

He may have been a genius,
His head among the stars,
But, did you know, apparently,
He landed here from Mars?!
